Though each condition is unique and caused by a different set of causes and/or effects, our bodies are the same in that we need a specific environment internally to be at our optimum state of health to fight disease and minimize the influences of genetic anomalies.

Summary
Summary - At IWHC, we are able to combine all the above with, when needed, low doses of chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy (sometimes fractionated) to obtain biological modulation and slow cancer activity, thus allowing our programs to catch up and control the disease. In general, the treatment is very well tolerated and patients do not have the usual side effects associated with these orthodox treatments.
Occasionally some special nutritional measures will have to be taken such as total parenteral nutrition (TPN), feeding the patient through the veins, or even surgical procedures according to the clinical condition of the individual being treated. Since every patient is different, we will adjust our protocols to those specific conditions, creating a better program that can provide the best results for each individual.
The program lasts 4 weeks on average and at the end the patient will be sent home with a maintenance program to be taken under the care of his/her local physician(s). We do recommend that he/she return here for a booster, usually taking 7 to 10 days, anywhere between 6 and 8 months to re-evaluate and treat the patient accordingly. It is important that these 6-8 month periodic updates continue so we can maintain the patients immune health and make recommendations as needed.
